I moved to the City of Albany with my wife in 2000. We now have two children- a boy and a girl. I felt frustrated that I kept hearing about fun events after they had happened or on such short notice that we already had made other plans, so I started keeping track of family-oriented events on a Google Calendar. I'm publishing that calendar, and some of the places we like to go to, on this website with two hopes: to help other parents take advantage of all that's going on in our region, especially some of the out-of-the ordinary ones that don't get as much publicity, and that other parents will let me know about events and places that I've missed.
